It is that time of the year again when politicians are putting plans in place to gun for elective positions as the 2015 elections gathers momentum , and just as he has been angling for years, the founder and General Overseer of the Household of God Church International Ministries, Pastor Chris Okotie, has come out to say that he has gotten divine instruction from God to run for president of Nigeria.
The former pop musician turned pastor who has been a perennial contestant in the presidential elections since 2003 on the platform of Justice Party, told a newspaper in an interview thus:
“I will run in 2015, God willing. God spoke to me about my participation in the political process, which was why I took the step in the first place. He has not said anything contrary.
“I don’t want to talk about our strategy for now, we have learnt from our past experience, we don’t want to talk about it for now.’’
Okotie will run on the platform of his political party, FRESH Party which is an acronym for Faith, Responsibility, Equality, Security and Hope
