It is believed midfielder Matuidi was the main focus for David Moyes' visit to watch PSG play Bordeaux in their French League Cup win. He has become an integral part of the Parisian club's midfield since arriving from Saint-Etienne in 2011 and both his attacking and defensive contribution have been excellent. This season in Ligue 1, his pass accuracy is above 90 per cent and he has made an average of 2.2 tackles per game.
